How do I book online?

Click the “Book Online” button. Select the service(s) and the stylist, then click on the “Book Reservation” button. If you don’t have an account click “Sign up” and it will lead you to create one.

If you are having trouble with a forgotten password, please call the salon for help at (707) 575-5551.

It will require a credit card to reserve your appointment. It does not automatically charge you unless you don’t honor our cancellation policies. (See our policies for clarification.) You may use this credit card on file for contactless pay upon your checkout after the appointment should you choose.

why do I reserve my appointments with a credit card?

Credit Card numbers are kept securely in your client file to reserve all appointments.  Often appointments can be held for a client for weeks, sometimes even months in advance and should someone not show up for one of these appointments it creates great cost to the business and stylists.  Therefore we ask for a small window of advance time to re-offer the appointment(s) to someone else.

When you arrive for your appointment you are able to pay with any payment method you’d prefer.

how does it work if I want to see multiple service providers at your salon?

At Leading Edge you will experience “true” team service.  Our entire team of professionals is at your disposal.

If you would like to change hairdressers please do so within our salon… no need to go anywhere else.  We’d rather you find someone on our team who will technically understand the services you’ve been receiving and how to adjust or pick up from where your last hairdresser left off.

Should you need an appointment and your preferred stylist is unavailable, you are encouraged to see an alternate stylist.  Never fear for hair color services either as we have a detailed record of your color history complete with formulation.

How does your loyalty program work?

We love our guests…We have a wonderful program to show our appreciation for continued support.

The program is simple… All guests at Leading Edge receive one reward point for every dollar spent on both services and retail at the salon.

Every 1000 points is equal to $20 savings to redeem.  Refer your friends and family and get 250 extra points.

what is your cancellation policy?

We realize that appointment adjustments on occasion are unavoidable. Please bear in mind that cancellations and no shows lead to lost opportunities for the salon and our guests.

As a courtesy, please provide at least a 24 hour notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. If for any reason, you do not show up or are not able to honor our cancellation policy, we reserve the right to charge payment to your card on file.

A Cancel or Reschedule of less than 24 hours prior notice are subject to 50% of cost of the reserved service.

what should I do if I miss an appointment?

If you inadvertently miss an appointment please cass us right away so we can get you rescheduled.  We work by appointment so it can take some planning to get you back on the schedule and keep you on track for your services… so the sooner the better.  There may even be opportunities on the same day for us to accommodate you.

what is "tiered pricing" for services? (experience levels)

At Leading Edge prices will vary based upon expertise and skill level.  We pride ourselves on offering a wide range of pricing levels for our guests to choose from to fit their budgets.

Not to be misunderstood as a level system associated with tenure, our pricing program is specifically tied back to advanced training, skill competency, and overall refinement of technical and artistic work.

Skill and availability always support pricing at Leading Edge.

As stylists move from level to level their pricing for services will adjust accordingly.

what is non-gendered pricing?

We believe that haircuts have no gender.  Because of this, we charge based on length of hair and complexity of haircut, never on gender.  We know that certain shapes can have deep semiotic meaning dependednt on our culture and we understand the nuances of what makes a haircut come acrsoss as more feminine or masculine in our time and place and we assure you, it has nothing to do with length.  

We also believe that anyone can have any haircut if the haircut is given with care and thought into the hair texture, growth patterns and lifestyle of the person wearing it.  Please feel free to talk to us about what you’re trying to signal to yourself or the world with your haircut.
